ANONOS

Anonos is the new state-of-the-art technology in data enablement and protection. It maximises innovation for high-utility distributed data processing, sharing and combining. By using unique variant twin software applying pseudonimisation, Anonos embeds trust and privacy in data, enabling lawful analytics and data sharing with no utility loss.

Cimt has been the trusted advisor for digital transformation and Data Modernization for Large Enterprises across Northwestern Europe for over 20 years.

After evaluating the market and requirements for lawful processing, cimt chose to partner with Anonos as the clear thought leader in this space. Anonos’ patented Variant Twin software applies pseudonymisation and allows for separation of information value from identity while enabling controlled relinking to identity for authorized processing only.

About Anonos

Eight years ago, Anonos saw a tug-of-war arising between data utility and protection. Traditional approaches -anonymization and consent- attempting to resolve this tug-of-war looked good on the surface, but had numerous limitations that businesses kept running into; centralised processing did not scale to support desired distributed data use, sharing and combining; and deleting the data prevented valuable insights from ever being discovered.

The next eight years were invested into developing new Anonos software and API-based solutions that uniquely embed policy, privacy and security controls into data flows to manage risk while data is in use, resolving the tug-of-war between data utility and protection.

Two solutions were developed:

Lawful Borderless Data (Schrems II)

Anonos Data Embassy software leverages GDPR-Pseudonymisation, a technique recommended by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) for compliance with Schrems II requirements.

Here is how Anonos Data Embassy software works:

  • It transforms personal data into privacy-respectful data assets known as Variant Twins® by using state-of-the-art technical controls.
  • These variant twins are Pseudonymized data as newly defined in the GDPR; unless they are combined with additional information the data controller exclusively controls, they cannot be relinked to individuals.
  • When you share or transfer data to third countries or parties, the receiving party cannot identify individual EU data subjects

Sustainable Data Value

Implement Anonos Data Embassy software to achieve sustainable data value with utmost flexibility and customizability in using and sharing data.

No data… Little data… or all data… Gain complete control over how much data you share.

Tailor the level of identifiability for each use case whether it is for analytics, AI or ML, data sharing, cross-border transfers or to future-proof other secondary data uses.
